DIGIT Summer School Has Started

Launched on July 1 and running through July 4, the DIGIT Summer School – part of the Digital practices, Gender, and Intimacy in Teens’ everyday life research project – is an initiative aimed at high school students, focused on exploring everyday digital practices, gender identities, and intimacy during adolescence.

During the four-day program, participants engage in workshops and discussions aimed at creating a four-episode podcast for teenagers. The podcast disseminates the findings of the DIGIT project, focusing on the relationship between digital media, gender, and intimacy.

Supported by podcasting experts—including sound engineer and director Bertrand Chaumeton and journalist and trainer Miriam Lepore—students learn audio storytelling and production techniques to develop original and engaging content.

The podcasts will be published on major platforms and shared through the social media channels of the project and the participating universities.
