“How to Communicate Gender-Based Violence”: The DIGIT Project Participates in the Event with Over 250 Students

On Friday, March 21, 2025, the event “How to Communicate Gender-Based Violence” was held at the Auditorium of the Altinate San Gaetano Cultural Center in Padua. The event, organized by the Bachelor’s program in Communication at the University of Padua in collaboration with the Progetto Giovani Padova, gathered over 250 high school students to reflect on the dynamics of gender-based violence and the role of communication in combating it. 

For the PRIN DIGIT project, contributions came from Prof. Cosimo Marco Scarcelli, Principal Investigator and Head of the UniPD Research Unit, and Prof. Lorenza Parisi, Head of the Sapienza Research Unit. They engaged in discussions on new languages for combating gender-based violence alongside Elena Baggioni (lawyer and Vice President of Di.Re), Antonella Spadaro (Centro Veneto Progetti Donna), and Madonnafreeeda (activist and content creator).
